A museum of Hokkaido pioneering architecture

You can get there by bus from Sapporo Bus Terminal. This is an open-air museum that recreates buildings and interiors from the Meiji to early Showa periods. The grounds were much larger than I expected, and there were many more buildings. You can go inside most of the buildings, so if you want to see everything, you'll need a day. The scenery from that time has been recreated, and the interiors of each building are well-constructed, so it was educational and interesting. There are parts that go into the mountains, so it's a good idea to wear clothes suitable for hiking. #SapporoTourism #HokkaidoHistoryMura
