Tree Houses Inside: A Resemblance of Luxury 💎

#sanya This fantastical architectural forest of tree houses has long been a landmark in Sanya. It was originally conceived as an elite residential complex and a high-class hotel. A seven-star hotel, I believe. A great future awaited it—the building even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records. And nearby is the famous "Beauty Crown" theater, which has hosted the Miss World pageant several times. 👑 However, the complex proved unpopular. Some say there was an initial construction error, and that's why they plan to demolish it. Others believe it's too far from the sea, which is why there's no tourist demand (who's right?). Be that as it may, it now houses a rather modest (but luxurious) hotel. Foreigners are not accommodated there, and reviews are mixed (it feels like the complex is semi-abandoned). 🔵 I managed to visit the reception area inside in 2019. It was like visiting the Louvre! Luxury in every inch. Yet, in 2025, our tour group was not allowed in, citing the building's state of disrepair 💔 #hotel
