Exploring the Secrets of Xidao Island, You're Beautiful

🚗 Departing from the pier, I was instantly captivated by the scenery as soon as I stepped off the boat~ 🌊 At first glance, I spotted the viral coral wall and the heart-shaped wall, both super popular photo spots with crowds snapping pictures. 🏠 There are many places to rent electric scooters on Xidao, so we got one to tour around and take in all the scenic views along the way. We stopped by the fishing village market to soak up the lively atmosphere of local fishermen's lives 🎣. 📚 The floating bookshop is a perfect spot to pause and read with the sound of waves in the background. 🏖️ Xidao is famous for its crystal-clear waters 🌊. Every corner has its unique charm. The island is quite large, making it tiring to explore on foot, but renting an e-scooter eased the burden, giving us more time to visit different attractions. For lunch, we chose Coconut Chicken at Yexiaoxiao on the island. While waiting for our meal, we enjoyed the ocean view. As soon as the hotpot arrived, the aroma of coconut filled the air. We ordered two servings of Wenchang chicken 🐔, said to be free-range for 180 days—the meat was firm and tender, perfect when dipped in the special sauce. The seafood platter was also delicious. We stayed at Xidao Courtyard Hotel and strolled back after dinner instead of taking a ride.
