Sanya Tianya Town: My Secret, Hidden Gem

Hey everyone! I just got back from Tianya Town in Sanya, and I was blown away! This place is like a real-life fairy tale, with blue and white houses lined up along the coast. It's super photogenic, like a free movie set 📸! Now, I'm sharing my travel experience with you all, so you can copy my itinerary~ Stay I highly recommend staying in a sea-view homestay in Tianya Town 🌊! The homestay I stayed in had an ocean view right from the window. Waking up to the sound of the waves was so therapeutic~ Plus, the homestays in the town are all unique, so you can't go wrong with any of them! Explore Railway Alley Railway Alley is a paradise for artsy people! There are so many interesting little shops in the alley, selling unique items like vintage trinkets, handmade jewelry, and all kinds of beautiful postcards. I didn't want to leave 🛍️. Huanglong Street There's so much good food on Huanglong Street! I highly recommend Fuyu Manyan Hainan Basket Rice, which is located on Huanglong Street, super close to the sea, just a short walk away. This restaurant specializes in Hainanese Li and Miao ethnic basket rice, and the taste is authentic! When I went, I ordered a basket rice set for two, which had a wide variety of dishes, including sliced Wenchang chicken, Zoong soup with seafood, and many other delicious dishes that I couldn't name. It's said that their coconut chicken Zoong soup basket rice is the first of its kind in Sanya, and even locals like to come here for their New Year's Eve dinner. It's a real hidden gem 🥘! Things to Do Tianya Haijiao I don't need to say much about Tianya Haijiao, it's a must-see attraction in Sanya! Taking photos next to the "Tianya" and "Haijiao" stones is super memorable, and it feels like your trip is complete 🌴. Nanshan Temple Nanshan Temple feels very solemn and serene. As soon as you enter the temple, your heart calms down. The Guanyin statue on the sea is truly spectacular, inspiring awe and allowing you to experience the charm of Buddhist culture 🙏. Eat After visiting Tianya Haijiao and Nanshan Temple, you definitely have to go to Hai Mengmeng Herb Duck for a feast! This restaurant is located in Railway Alley and is easy to find. As soon as I walked in, I smelled the aroma of the herb duck, which was so tempting🤤! Their herb duck is made with a unique Hainanese sea duck, using a secret recipe from ancient Qiong Prefecture, combined with the skills of local chefs. The taste is amazing! Besides the herb duck, their shrimp cakes are also delicious, as well as various snacks, like the shaved ice from Mengmeng Ice Shop, which is sweet and refreshing 🥰.
