My friend went to Fairmont last year and kept telling me it was great, so after seeing a lot of warnings, I still chose Fairmont. The feeling of vacation became concrete from the moment I entered the hotel. The pictures on the Internet did not capture the Fairmont's garden design. Being in it, the scenery changes with every step. If I had more vacation time, I would really like to live here all the time. ▪️Tell me about my favorite places: 🏝Gardens: I’ve seen people online saying that the Fairmont Gardens are beautiful and photogenic, but I didn’t quite get it from looking at the pictures. But when I got here, I realized how beautiful it is. The palm trees, coconut groves, wood carvings, and canals are both leisurely and peaceful, yet they have a Venetian feel. I couldn’t help but take photos along the way. 🏝Beach: The coastline is very long. Maybe we came in the off-season, so there were very few people. The waves in Haitang Bay are indeed big, but there was no wind during the few days we were there, so it was very comfortable to dig sand and play in the waves. On the way to the beach, we passed a beautiful lawn. 🏝Activity: The fire dance show in the evening is highly recommended, it's amazing! There aren't many parent-child activities, but they are enough for the kids to play. Some outdoor activities such as tree climbing and golf are very interesting. There is an indoor playground downstairs in Building 1, but it closes at 7pm. The outdoor rainbow park has lights that are very bright at night, and it discharges electricity at night. 🏝There are also special cruise ships. Although there is a charge, 58 for a boat is quite reasonable. After all, the room rate is not expensive, and it would cost more than that if it is added to the room rate. We bought a package of cruise, train, 7D movie and game coins. 100 yuan gets you one cruise and unlimited train rides. There is no queue for cruises during the off-season, and it is very pleasant to visit the hotel while enjoying the breeze on the boat. 🏝The breakfast was very rich and it was comfortable to sit outside in April, neither too hot nor too cold. The buffet dinner was also better than expected, with a wide variety of options. I recommend booking a room with a buffet dinner. The best spot for the fire dance show is in the Veranda Restaurant, so you can watch the fire dance show directly after dinner. ▪️There are also disadvantages. The hotel is too big and Building 1 is a bit far from the beach. But there is a shuttle bus. Just call the front desk. Also, there is no water park at the pool, and judging by the small pool slides others have posted, they may be a thing of the past. All in all, it is not a particularly family-friendly hotel, but it is very suitable for a family of three generations to vacation. Preschool babies really don't need to go to those pure parent-child hotels. Although there are many activities, children are actually too young to play, and it is easy to spread the disease when there are too many people.
