The experience at the Sanya Jinmao Hilton is indescribable.

It was disappointing to have a buffet breakfast in Sanya during the off-peak season at a price of CNY 188 per person. I recently stayed at the Hilton during the off-peak season and tried their buffet breakfast. However, this breakfast experience was far from the high standards that the Hilton brand has always maintained. First of all, I was extremely dissatisfied with the price of CNY 188 per person. The total cost for four people was CNY 752, but the service and food quality received were not worth this price. For example, a bowl of white porridge was CNY 58, Maoxuewang was CNY 448, a serving of pork and cabbage dumplings was CNY 158, and a small bottle of cola was CNY 38. These prices were obviously too high and did not match the actual food quality provided. As a high-end hotel, Hilton's buffet breakfast should offer a wide variety of food choices. However, the reality was disappointing. There were only four types of fruit, which was far from my expectations for a buffet breakfast at a high-end hotel. As a tropical tourist city, Sanya should have a rich supply of fruit, but Hilton only offered limited choices and obviously did not make full use of local resources. What was even more dissatisfying was that many dishes were not served in a timely manner. During the peak dining period in the morning, many plates were empty and the waiting time for replenishment was too long. This not only affected the dining experience, but also made people feel that the hotel was negligent in management and service. Especially during the off-peak season, when there were fewer customers, this problem should not exist. Poor management and inadequate service are undoubtedly the main reasons for this phenomenon. Hilton hotels have always been known for their high-quality service and high-standard facilities, but this breakfast experience did not reflect these advantages at all. As a tourist, I believe that the hotel has a responsibility to provide customers with high-quality services and food that match the price. However, not only was the price of this buffet breakfast at the Hilton too high, but it also failed to meet basic standards in terms of food quality and service. This experience will undoubtedly affect the overall impression of tourists on Sanya tourism and lower the atmosphere of Sanya as a tourist city. In general, I was very disappointed with this buffet breakfast experience at the Hilton. Providing such a low-quality breakfast at a high price of CNY 188 per person not only made people feel perfunctory, but also made people doubt whether the Hilton brand could maintain its consistent high standards. I hope that the hotel can take customer feedback seriously, improve management and service quality, and provide customers with more value-for-money dining experiences.
