Sandakan Memorial Park - Historical of Sandakan Death Marches

#springitinerary 7.00 am - I just walked to the Sandakan Memorial Park because the distance from hotel is not that far. 7.15 am - I arrived at the Sandakan Memorial Park. I always do leisure activities here in the morning with jogging activities. This is a historical site where prisoners who died in the bloody Sandakan Death Marches. Many relics of the Japanese army were found in this area. Among them are The English built Ruston-Bucyrus excavator and steam generator. 8.30 am - I also entered the exhibition room where there are many chronologies of events that occurred and historical pictures inside. 10.00 am - Returned to hotel.
