This is an old tobacco curing barn and has been renovated into a resort and cafe, while still preserving the identity of the old tobacco curing barn. The old tobacco curing barn building is elevated in many levels, looking beautiful amidst the shady trees. There is a lot of green space, looking everywhere is pleasing to the eye. The cafe Roongbam building is surrounded by large trees and green lawns. The accommodation building has celandine trees covering the entire building area. This place won the UNESCO Cultural Heritage Conservation Award, Asia and the Pacific in the 2018 category of the New Design Award in the Context of Cultural Heritage. The cafe Roongbam also has special seasonal menus, such as Makiang ice cream, Kaomai Lanna cake with Makiang ingredients. The cake and ice cream are very delicious, sour, slightly sweet, very refreshing.
