#summervacay From Los Angeles to San Diego, the train runs along the stunning Pacific coastline. Sea breeze, rolling waves — nothing feels more like summer than this journey towards the blue ocean. 🌴 My Recommended Route: ✔️ Sea Cliff, Del Mar ✔️ La Jolla Cove ✔️ Sunset Cliffs ① Sea Cliff — Coastal Train & Wildflowers This spot feels straight out of a Miyazaki movie — train tracks right by the ocean, wildflowers swaying in the breeze, and the endless blue sea meeting the sky. 📍 Best Viewpoint: “Sea Cliff Coastal Bluff Trail” near Del Mar (Google: 32.9474, -117.2637) 💡 Travel Tip: If you want to catch a train passing by, check Solana Beach Station’s schedule — trains pass this spot roughly 5–10 mins before/after. 🌼 Best Season: Mid-May — the cliffs bloom with yellow and purple wildflowers. ② La Jolla Cove — Sea Lions & Birds Hands down my favorite spot in San Diego! Like a seaside wildlife park — sea lions lounging on the rocks, waddling along the shore, birds nesting along the cliffs. 🚗 Parking: Limited near the coast, easier to park uphill on Prospect St. 📷 Must-See: The adorable sea lions sunbathing or awkwardly crawling across the rocks. ③ Sunset Cliffs — Classic Coastal Sunset Famous for its ocean sunset views, with golden light bathing the cliffs and waves glowing orange. ⏰ Best Time: Arrive at least an hour before sunset — parking fills up fast! 💭 Personal Take: Beautiful, but very standard — just a typical coastal sunset.
