This museum is so beautiful that it makes you cry! Bangkok's Three-Headed Elephant Museum.

The entire museum, both inside and outside, is filled with girlish pink color, exquisite reliefs, painted glass dome (depicting the five continents and twelve zodiac signs), dreamy circular staircase, and is very photogenic. The museum has three floors: the underworld, the human world, and the heaven. The underworld mainly exhibits precious antiques, the human world exhibits exquisite sculptures, and the heaven, such as the abdominal area, enshrines Buddha statues. 📝Attention tips: (Keep quiet, photography is not recommended) To enter the museum, long pants or long skirts are required. There are staff at the entrance providing free aprons. Ticket price: 400 Thai baht Opening hours: 9:00-18:00 Address: 99/9 Moo1, Sukhumvit Road, Bang Meung Mai, Amphoe Meung,

Are you into Artifacts? One of the best place to get to know more about Thailand ❤️ The Erawan Museum is known for its giant three-headed elephant art sculpture as exterior. This is the first and biggest hand-carved sculpture in the world--43 meters high. Interesting place to visit if you have time to spare. Good place to snap some photos and to observe Buddhist culture. Place is easy to visit via the Chang-Erawan BTS station from Bangkok city center. Short taxi ride is required upon exiting the station but on return, free shuttle from museum is available. Erawan Museum, truly stands to be called one of Bangkok’s most unique attractions. The Erawan Museum houses one of Thailand’s most exquisite private art collections while simultaneously serving as a visual representation of the three-tiered cosmology of Thailand’s Theravada Buddhism: the underworld, the human world and the heavens. The Erawan Museum was commissioned to be built by Mr. Lek Viriyapant (Prapai Viriyapant), in order to preserve his personal collection of antiques and sacred objects in a manner that would contribute to Thai heritage.
