#ThailandTravel Visiting Wat Sam Pran Temple in Thailand was a unique and amazing experience. Wat Sam Pran is an unconventional temple with a unique and amazing design. When I arrived at the temple, I immediately noticed the impregnable tower that towered 80 meters into the sky. This tower is known as the “Giant Serpent Statue” which makes Wat Sam Pran unique from other temples in Thailand. Dating back to the 18th century, Wat Sam Pran is believed to have been built to protect the area from evil spirits and snakes. This giant tower is believed to contain the giant spirit of the legendary Alboa snake, a symbol of protection and strength. Aside from the giant tower, Wat Sam Pran has various smaller buildings and sub-temples. These temples house sacred statues of Buddha and other religious relics. I also explored the gardens surrounding the temple with lots of green plants and winding corridors. The scenery was beautiful and quiet, giving me a chance to relax and meditate. The memories of this wonderful visit will remain in my heart and I look forward to returning to explore more of the beauty and charm of Wat Sam Pran.
