The sacred object of Sakon Nakhon Province: Phra That Chedi Chum

Traveling to the Northeast, I stopped by to make merit and pay homage to sacred objects everywhere. When I arrived in Sakon Nakhon, I couldn't help but pay homage to Phra That Chedi Chum. There is a legend about this chedi that King Suwannaphingkara took off his golden crown, put it on to worship the Buddha's footprint, and built a chedi to cover it, so it was called Phra That Chedi Chum. According to the Lao chronicles, during the reign of King Saisetthathirat of the city of Sri Sat Na Khanahut, Lan Xang, Phra That Chedi Chum was called Phra That Nong Han. #SakonNakhon #WatPhraThatChediChum
