Charlestown Harbour 🗺️

#myhiddengems Charlestown Harbour in Cornwall is a real treasure! 🌊 This charming, historic harbor in the quaint village of Charlestown was a highlight of my trip. The entrance to the harbor itself is free, but there’s a small fee of around £6 if you want to explore the shipwreck museum, which I highly recommend. The museum is filled with fascinating maritime artifacts and stories of the area’s rich seafaring history. 🚢 Strolling around the harbor, I admired the classic tall ships and the beautiful Georgian architecture. 🏛️ The views of the coast are simply stunning, especially at sunset. 🌅 For a relaxing afternoon, you can enjoy a meal at one of the lovely pubs or cafes overlooking the harbor. 🍽️ Nearby, you’ll find the Eden Project, a short drive away, which offers incredible biomes and gardens. 🌿 If you enjoy coastal walks, the South West Coast Path offers breathtaking views and is perfect for a scenic hike. 🌾 Charlestown Harbour’s blend of history, natural beauty, and charm makes it a must-visit destination in Cornwall! #trip #charlestownharbour #cornwall #historicharbor #coastalwalks #travelbritain
