Is there a more suitable destination for family skiing?

Known as a real-life fairy tale world, Rusutsu Resort, which has been awarded 'Japan's Best Ski Resort' by the 'World Ski Awards' four times, is only a 90-minute drive from the airport and Sapporo. It features 3 major accommodation facilities, 3 peaks, and 37 ski runs, making it a sought-after destination for ski enthusiasts from home and abroad. Considering facilities for family skiing and also catering to dads who want to ski through the woods; the ski-in, ski-out resort we chose is perfect for kids, as it's zero distance from the resort hotel to the ski slopes. The resort also offers a rich variety of activities and dining options. We also took a little train to another Westin hotel (the mountain scenery there is nice). The beginner slopes here are no problem for our kids to ski on their own. For families with children who can't ski yet, or can't spend a lot of time on the slopes, we recommend Crayon Shin-chan Square. The gentle slopes are perfect for snow tubing, snow biking, snowmobiling, dog sledding, horseback riding, and ice fishing, but all require advance reservations as they are very popular at this time. The hotel's free double-decker carousel is very popular with children; hot springs, indoor wave pools, projection mapping, and light shows offer many therapeutic activities when we're not skiing.
