Wandering through the heart of Rome is like flipping through the pages of a living history book — and on this unforgettable walk, we covered some of the city’s most iconic and soul-stirring landmarks. Starting from the mighty Colosseum, we passed the Arch of Constantine and ventured into the Roman Forum. The ruins stretched endlessly, each column and broken wall whispering tales of the empire’s glory. Climbing up Palatine Hill rewarded us with panoramic views — the Forum beneath us, and in the distance, St. Peter’s dome peeking above the rooftops. As we continued walking, we came upon the Church of Santa Maria di Loreto — standing gracefully with its baroque dome, and nearby, the stunning white marble structure of the Victor Emmanuel II Monument, also known as Altare della Patria. Love it or hate it, it’s undeniably grand. From there, we saw the Church of Santi Luca e Martina nestled amid the ancient ruins, a beautiful contrast of Renaissance elegance against Rome’s raw antiquity.
