A must visit place in Rome

Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome what's one of the places I really wanted to see while in Rome. The castle has such an interesting mix of history, from being a mausoleum to a fortress and even a papal residence. Walking through the narrow halls and up to the rooftop provides with amazing views of the city and the Vatican. Pro tip: The lines can get long, so try to visit early in the day. Also, don't miss the walk along the top ramparts—it's peaceful and offers one of the best views in Rome. It’s definitely worth the visit for the history and views. One more tip and the best thing about this place: come back and enjoy the view of Castel Sant'Angelo at night! It is super beautiful with illumination on and probably my favorite view in the entire city of Rome! #europetrip #italy #rome
