the Magic and Reality of the Trevi Fountain

The Trevi Fountain. 💙 This was my first time visiting and I was in awe! What a beautiful absolutely magical place! Located in Rome, Italy, it is one of the most famous and iconic fountains in the world. ⛲️ It is featured in many movies and photos, and is often depicted as a serene (exhibit A - the photo which I have shared with you) and romantic spot where visitors can throw coins into the fountain. The reality of visiting the Trevi Fountain is a little different. Friends had told me it’s SOOO busy. While I thought I was prepared, I could never have imagined just how BUSY it gets. The crowds there were more than I expected. But, then again I can totally understand why. What to expect: The fountain may be crowded with tourists, busy and noisy, difficult to get a photo with a clear view of the Trevi and can have quite a bit of litter around. Managing expectations: be prepared for the crowds and hustle and bustle that come with this magical location. The Trevi Fountain remains a must-see place! 🤩🫶🏼The beauty and history of the fountain make it worth the visit. If you want to see it when it’s a little less crowded, try to visit early in the morning or later in the evening when there may be less people around. Photo tip: work those angles. There were at least another 50 people if not more around when I was taking this photo! ~ 📌SAVE POST FOR FUTURE TRAVELS 📍 Trevi Fountain - Piazza di Trevi, 00187 Roma RM, Italy ⏰ time visited the Trevi fountain was at 6:30AM in October ~ • 💚✨ . . . . . . #trevifountain #rome #romeitaly #italygram #italia #roma #italytrip #exploreitaly #iloverome #romelife #europeexplores #thingstodoinrome #visititaly
