Vote Tower 101, Roi Et Province

En: Creating a lively welcome for the New Year 2021 for Roi Et people is “Ho Wat”, a 101-meter-high city observation tower, as the name of the province suggests. It is equivalent to the height of a 35-story building, standing out in the middle of the city in Somdej Phra Srinagarindra Roi Et Park, in front of Bueng Phalanchai. The starting point came from the inspiration for tourism development by Mr. Banjong Khositjiranan, Mayor of Roi Et Municipality, which led to the province’s grand project. The name of this new tower in Thailand comes from “Ho Wat”, a traditional Isan musical instrument, which is the provincial musical instrument of Roi Et. It was designed into the shape of the building, so it can be said that it is a tower in the shape of a local musical instrument that is unlike any other in the world. Inside the tall tower, there are 12 floors of actual usable space, such as the top floor, the 35th floor, which is the Buddha hall where the Buddha’s relics are enshrined. And Phra Phuttha Ming Muang Mongkol, the provincial Buddha image of Roi Et, on the 34th floor is a 360-degree viewpoint of Roi Et. There is also a museum, a Sky Walk restaurant, a souvenir shop, etc., beautifully decorated with local stories interspersed with modernity, such as the provincial flower, the Indigo Flower, made of crystal. #WorldHeritage #HistoricSightseeing #BuffetReview #CafeReview #SecretLocation #NortheastTeam #CentralTeam

Religious tourist attractions in Roi Et Province, Thung Khao Luang District, are outstanding for being a temple full of large stucco statues, including a large pagoda decorated with various stucco patterns. These beautiful and unusual stucco sculptures were created from the vision of Luang Pu Kham Pan Chanchoto, the abbot. They include stories about the life of the Buddha, ideas reflecting the teachings of the Dharma, religious principles, Thai literature, and models of local culture and traditions. You can walk around and enjoy the view. Wat Pa Non Sawan is also nicknamed Wat Mor Din because it uses clay pots, a handicraft product from Ban Yang, to decorate many parts of the temple, especially in the area of the ordination hall. There is a large and convenient parking lot at the temple. Tourists can visit at the appropriate time. Sandstone pagoda, Wat Pa Kung or Wat Prachakom Wanaram The first large pagoda made from natural sandstone in Thailand. It is considered a beautiful and grand religious tourist attraction. The construction model is from Borobudur in Indonesia. It was built to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the 60th anniversary of the stone pagoda construction when the Venerable Luang Pu Sri Maha Wiro, a famous meditation master from the Northeast, went to perform religious duties in Indonesia in 1988. The sandstone pagoda has 7 floors in total. The first floor is a bas-relief yellow sandstone carving that tells the story of the last life of the Bodhisattva who practiced the virtue of charity. The second and third floors are bas-relief yellow sandstone carvings that tell the story of the life of the Lord Buddha. The fourth floor is a bas-relief yellow sandstone carving of the auspicious mantra. The fifth floor is the circular wall that supports the pagoda. It is a picture of the four pilgrimage sites: birth, enlightenment, first sermon, and nirvana. The sixth floor has eight smaller chedis and one main chedi. In particular, the seventh floor has a golden chedi apex weighing 101 baht. Inside the chedi is the relics of the Lord Buddha brought from India for Buddhists and tourists to pay homage and pray for good fortune. #MissingNature #BuffetReview #NortheastTeam
