Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew - London

The complex of greenhouses and botanical gardens occupies 132 hectares. Kew Gardens houses the world's largest collection of living plants. More than 30 000 plants grow in the gardens, and the second largest herbarium in the world contains 7 million plants. The library contains over 750 000 volumes and over 175 000 plant drawings. The gardens serve as a scientific and educational center. Since 2003, the attraction has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
