#hikingtime On my summer trip to Iceland, I visited the Bridge Between Continents in Hafnir, and it was a memorable experience! 🌍🌉 Located about 15 minutes from Keflavik, this spot offers a unique opportunity to literally walk between two tectonic plates: the North American and Eurasian plates. The entrance is free, which is a fantastic bonus for such a unique geological feature. The bridge itself is quite small but symbolic, giving you a great photo op as you stand on the boundary of two continents. The surrounding area is pretty rugged and windswept, which adds to the dramatic Icelandic landscape. Nearby, you can explore the Reykjanes Peninsula, known for its geothermal activity and lava fields.
