Adlikon - suburban farmers’ village 🇨🇭

There are two villages with the same name. I write about the one that belongs to Regensdorf. There is not so much exciting to talk about but it is still worth mentioning. It used to be a farmers’village and there are still some century old traditional farm houses (photo 2 & 3). Getting There - by car or bus 485 and 456 from Regensdorf railway station Attractions - 1. Old town house which was built in 1893 and nowadays can be rented for your private party. 2. hiking: get off bus 485 at Adlikon-Paechterried station walk backwards and turn right to walk along the tiny Furtbach creek (photo 8 & 6) until you reach the street. Have a drink or snack at the Furtbaechli Restaurant (photo 9) or shop some groceries at the supermarket. From there take bus 456 back or walk on the other side of the creek, cross the bridge and walk along the creek (photo 7) and the back to the initial bus stop. Walking time 20 to 30 minutes. There are other nice hikes on the hill. Hotels - Thessoni next to Regensdorf railway station Food & Restaurants - 1. Furtbaechli with an outdoor terrace is a high quality restaurant 2.
