The 100-Year-Old House in Ranong, Tian Si House

The 100-Year-Old Tian Si House is a place to learn about local history and culture, telling the stories of the first Chinese settlers in Ranong. Inside, there are displays of important old photographs, ancestral lineage, the history of Ranong province, local lifestyle artifacts, traditional Baba and Nyonya clothing, and local foods such as Hokkien fried noodles, Bak Kut Teh, and Ang Ku Kuih. There is also a story about the 100-Year-Old Tian Si House. In the past, Tian Si would invite his descendants to sit and count coins in the garden and help pack them into cloth bags used for storing tin ore, which were then kept in the house.
