Ban Hong Temple, Ranong Province

There is a two-storey Ubosot or what is called the floating Ubosot, 8 meters wide and 15 meters long. Around the Ubosot is a wide concrete courtyard with railings. In each of the four corners, there is a wide four-sided building with stairs going up and down around the north, south, east and west. The lower part of the Ubosot is a hall used for meetings and seminars. Inside the Ubosot of Wat Ban Ngao is the place where the principal Buddha image is enshrined, named "Luang Pho Dibuk", a Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude. Its official name is "Phra Tipuka Phuttha Maha Sakyamuni Si Ranang", which means "a large tin Buddha image that is auspicious and the dignity of Ranong". There is also a beautiful wall carved with various patterns. #Travelwithtrip2024 #WatBanNgao #Ranong
