Raksa Warin Hot Springs, Ranong

Raksa Warin Hot Spring is located in Raksa Warin Public Park. It is a naturally occurring hot spring that contains various minerals. But what makes it more special than other hot springs is that it does not contain any sulfur. In the past, there were 3 free footbaths, called the Father's Pond, the Mother's Pond, and the Daughter's Pond. Currently, several more hot springs have been built. The Father's Pond is a large, circular cement pond. The water is quite clear with small bubbles of carbon dioxide gas rising up. There is no sulfur smell and no algae. The hot water overflows out of the pond all the time. The water temperature is 65 degrees Celsius. The Mother Pond is a smaller cement pond than the Father Pond. The water is quite clear with carbon dioxide gas bubbles rising up periodically. There is no sulfur smell and no algae. The water temperature is 65 degrees Celsius. The Daughter Pond is also a cement pond. The hot water is quite clear with more carbon dioxide gas bubbles rising to the surface than the first two ponds. There is no sulfur smell and no algae.
