Iconic Mausoleum✨

Experience one of Rabat’s most iconic landmarks “The Mausoleum of Mohammed V” where Moroccan history, architecture and reverence converge. This royal necropolis, located on the Yacoub al-Mansour esplanade opposite the Hassan Tower, houses the tombs of King Mohammed V and his sons King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah. This mausoleum is a masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship with white marble exterior, green-tiled roof symbolizing the royal Alawite dynasty, lavish zellij mosaics and cedar-wood ceilings inside. The sight of royal guards standing watch adds to the solemn, dignified atmosphere. Entrance is free of charge but you will need to dress modestly.
