Queenstown is New Zealand's famous adventure capital, and skydiving is very popular here. • Skydiving locations: • There are 3 main skydiving locations around Queenstown: NZONE Skydive (Queenstown), Skydive Wanaka (Wanaka), and Skydive Southern Alps (Glenorchy). • NZONE Skydive: • As the birthplace of tandem skydiving, NZONE Skydive offers the ultimate experience of skydiving from 4,500 meters. • There are three skydiving heights to choose from: 15,000 feet (about 4,500 meters) for 60 seconds of free fall, 12,000 feet (about 3,600 meters) for 45 seconds of free fall, and 9,000 feet (about 2,700 meters) for 25 seconds of free fall. • The minimum age for skydiving is 6 years old, and other conditions such as height and weight must also be met. • Preparation before skydiving: • You need to gather at the Nzone Skydive Center before skydiving, located at 35 Shotover Street, Queenstown. • You need to allow about 3 hours to complete the entire skydiving activity. • The weight limit is 115 kg, and people over 95 kg need to be assessed by a Tandem Master at the drop zone. • Skydiving experience: • After jumping out of the plane, you will experience up to 60 seconds of free fall, then the instructor will open the parachute and float slowly until landing. • The skydiving instructor will provide professional guidance and safety assurance. • Photos and videos: • Photos and video services during skydiving require an additional fee. • Skydiving time: • October to March: Starts at 6:00 am, every 30 minutes, until 4:40 pm. • April to September: Starts at 8:00 am, every 30 minutes, until 4:40 pm. • Precautions after skydiving: • There may be different physical reactions after skydiving, such as tinnitus, dizziness, etc. It is recommended not to schedule other strenuous exercises on the day of skydiving. • Booking and cancellation policy: • It is recommended to book skydiving activities in advance, and canceling 24 hours in advance can avoid cancellation fees.
