Quanzhou Accommodation Recommendation: Tongban Boutique Hotel

For my Quanzhou trip, I chose the newly opened Tongban Boutique Hotel in Fengze District. The location is convenient—if you don’t want to walk to West Street, you can take a bus with a stop nearby, passing by Guandi Temple and the ancient city area along the way, making transportation very easy. I booked a single room. Though compact, it was well-equipped, with a heater for showers, offering a generally comfortable experience—though the bed was a bit firm. The hotel provides breakfast vouchers redeemable for free bread and hot drinks at the neighboring bakery (morning only). 1️⃣ The hotel is newly opened this year—clean, spacious, and pleasantly air-conditioned in the hallways. The bathroom has a dry-wet separation layout and is exceptionally roomy. 2️⃣ Located right by the ancient city, the prime location makes it easy to get anywhere. 3️⃣ Initially, my key card didn’t work, but the front desk promptly delivered a new one and repeatedly apologized—the issue was resolved efficiently and professionally. (This stood in stark contrast to my awful check-in experience at a hotel in Fuzhou earlier, where problems were ignored and no accountability was taken, leaving me traumatized… In comparison, Tongban Hotel in Quanzhou was truly, truly, TRULY amazing!) 4️⃣ The front desk staff were warm and attentive, even helping with luggage and other small details I can’t recall now. Overall, it was excellent, and I had a very comfortable stay~!
