This trip to Qingyang was truly healing! We stayed at Yanxi Lake Bay Holiday Villa Shanshui Courtyard, which is like a hidden treasure guesthouse nestled in the mountains. Sitting in the courtyard at night watching fireworks bloom, and opening the window during the day to see the misty mountain views—this kind of magical experience is a must-share with you all~ 🏡 Guesthouse Highlights: • Designer light luxury style, some rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can lie in bed and watch the stars and mountain views • Details like smart toilets and foot soaking tubs are perfect, and the bedding is so comfortable you’ll want to take it home • Pet-friendly! Super convenient to bring your furry friends on vacation 📍 Location & Transportation: • Address: No. 8 Xiling, Yangchong Village, Rongcheng Town (between Jiuhua Mountain High-Speed Rail Station and the Tourist Center) • Very convenient by car or high-speed rail, surrounding temples and off-the-beaten-path attractions are all within a 10-minute drive • Thoughtful tip: The guesthouse offers free pick-up and drop-off service, remember to contact the housekeeper in advance 🍴 Foodie Must-See: • You can have a barbecue and set off fireworks by the lake in the evening 🎡 Activity Guide: During the day— • Have afternoon tea by the lotus pond • In summer, bring kids to play in the guesthouse’s pool and trampoline • Hike and explore the bamboo forest trails behind the mountain At night recommended— • Lie on the courtyard loungers and enjoy the scenery • Sing karaoke and barbecue by the lake with friends • Relax with the foot soaking tub in the room, paired with a cup of hot tea delivered by the housekeeper ⚠️ Notes: • There is a big temperature difference between morning and night in the mountains, remember to bring a jacket • Some rooms are close to public areas, light sleepers are advised to choose rooms further inside • You can bring your preferred toiletries, the guesthouse provides basic ones The biggest surprise this time was the housekeeper’s service, from pick-up to helping us plan routes, it was super thoughtful.
