6 Years of Jiuhua Mountain丨No Tour Guide This Year! A Pure Pilgrimage Route

For [six] consecutive years, I've been to Jiuhua Mountain, and this year I decided not to hire a tour guide and explore a fantastic pilgrimage route on my own. Now, I must share it with you all🎉! 🚌 Departing from Xiamen to Jiuhua Mountain, it's a 5-hour high-speed train ride with one transfer (Xiamen~Huangshan North, Huangshan North~Chizhou). Transportation is super convenient🚄 This year's pilgrimage route starts at eight in the morning🕗 and ends at eleven🕚. The entire journey is not tiring at all😎 Sincere prayers🙏~ Starting from the hotel, the first✨stop is🙏Little Tiantai, about 1.2 km away. Remember to choose a hotel that's not too remote, preferably near Jiuhua Street🏨 Little Tiantai has a unique charm✨in Jiuhua Mountain. Its architecture blends Huizhou style with the solemnity of Buddhist architecture. Surrounded by lush greenery🌳, it's tranquil and serene, like a pure land amidst the mundane world. Stepping into Little Tiantai, the peaceful atmosphere instantly envelops you, calming your heart. It is said that the Bodhisattva at Little Tiantai is very efficacious, and many believers come here to worship🙏, make wishes, and seek spiritual comfort and protection. Then, continue downwards to the Meat Body Hall (Roushen Baodian). You'll pass by Zhunti Nunnery along the way. Remember to enter and worship at every temple you see, as sincerity is key🙏 Zhunti Nunnery is a nunnery with a long history and elegant architecture. It enshrines the Zhunti Bodhisattva, who is regarded in Buddhism as a highly responsive and powerful Bodhisattva. The nunnery is exquisitely laid out, with a courtyard filled with flourishing flowers, plants, and trees🌼, adding a touch of elegance. Entering Zhunti Nunnery, you can see the nuns immersed in their practice, and a strong atmosphere of cultivation pervades the air. Offering incense and praying here allows you to deeply appreciate the profound meaning of Buddhist culture. 🙏The second stop, the Meat Body Hall (Roushen Baodian), is one of the core attractions of Jiuhua Mountain, solemn, and magnificent. It was built to commemorate Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, whose great vow, "I vow not to achieve Buddhahood until all hells are emptied," is widely known and attracts countless believers to worship. The hall's architecture is grand and spectacular, with soaring eaves and golden glazed tiles that shimmer in the sunlight. Walking around the hall, the lingering sound of Buddhist chants fills the air, inspiring awe and reverence. 🙏The [third☺️] stop is the Amitabha Hall (Mituo Dian). The Amitabha Hall mainly enshrines Amitabha Buddha, the Buddha of the Western Paradise, known for his compassion and vows. The hall's architecture is solemn and respectful, with exquisitely carved Buddha statues and a benevolent expression. Believers come here to pray to Amitabha Buddha for rebirth in the Western Paradise and liberation from the cycle of suffering. The chanting and swirling incense within the hall create a sacred and solemn atmosphere, purifying the soul. 🙏The [fourth✨] stop is the Ksitigarbha Chan Temple (Dizang Chan Si). The Ksitigarbha Chan Temple has a rich history, simple architecture, and a tranquil environment. It enshrines the golden body of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and a constant stream of worshippers come to pay their respects. The temple is not only a place for believers to pray but also an important place for spreading Buddhist teachings and promoting the spirit of Ksitigarbha. During Buddhist events, the temple holds grand ceremonies, attracting many believers and tourists.
