Due to the German occupation, this city is now famous for 2 things - its unique architecture in the old city center and Tsingtao beer! While it might not seem like 3 days is much time to get anything accomplished, you can actually see a lot in Qingdao. You can hike Laoshan and to be rewarded with stunning mountain views. The Tsingtao factory is also a must-visit to learn about the history of one of China’s most popular beers.
