If you're in a hurry, take Didi; if not, take the bus or subway. 👕: Sunscreen is very important, and bring a pair of comfortable sneakers. Take flip-flops if you go to the beach. 🏠: Whether it's the Old Town or the area around May Fourth Square, either is fine. Qingdao is small, so anywhere is about the same. ———————————— ① St. Michael's Cathedral: Just a church, take a couple of photos outside and that's enough. ② Signal Hill Park: You can overlook the entire Old Town. You need to buy a ticket at the entrance, the cheapest is 5 yuan. No need to pay extra to go to the top floor. ③ University Road Internet-famous Wall: The red wall is not worth queuing for photos. Walk further inside to find some unique alleys with coffee and handmade shops. If interested, explore more. The "Sleepless Coffee" café is nearby. ④ Xiaoyushan (Little Fish Hill): More interesting than Signal Hill. The ticket is also 5 yuan. From the top, you can clearly see the beach and sea. Walk up from the entrance to reach the popular "Yard by the Sea." (These belong to inland mountain areas) ———————————— ① Badaxia Square: The famous piano key stairs. (①② are connected by bus routes 304/316/25 from Guizhou Road and Chaoyang Road to Xilingxia Road and Taiping Road, the popular spot for the sudden dash to the sea video.) ② Zhanqiao Pier: A pier extending into the sea. ③ Lu Xun Park ④ Little Qingdao Island: Between these two is Qinyu Road, where there is a Fenglingdu Café. You can see the sea right outside, but honestly, any place on that road has a sea view. ⑤ Badaguan Scenic Area: Some buildings like Princess Building and Flower Stone Building. Tickets are required but not necessary to visit. Going down leads to the Second Bathing Beach, also by the sea. (This area is seaside attractions) ———————————— ① Qingdao Beer Museum: Quite interesting, and you can take home a small Qingdao beer glass. ② Olympic Sailing Center: You can take sailing boats and such. ③ Yan'er Island: Next to the Olympic Sailing Center, with a popular wooden staircase and a famous cave. The lights look nice but no need to wait for them to turn on. ④ Xiaomai Island: The sunset is stunning, a must-visit. There’s also a lawn and a famous tree. ⑤ May Fourth Square: Nice for an evening breeze and a stroll. ⑥ Taidong Pedestrian Street: Go at night. Features include three kinds of shrimp balls and thirteen kinds of snacks. You can also check in at a milk tea shop with "Qingdao" printed on it and a shop with red Qingdao characters on the rolling shutter. Nearby is the Rushi Bookstore, which is just average. ② Laoshan Scenic Area: I didn’t go but it should be worth it. ③ Bus 618 Coastal Road: Stunning views from Yangkou to Yakou. (If you have time, definitely set aside a day for Laoshan. I didn’t have time this trip, but it’s a beautiful wish.
