The biggest surprise was the room type with a small courtyard—the private hot spring pool is embedded on the terrace. Soaking in the hot spring at dusk, you can see the sunset dyeing the sea amber, the sound of waves hitting the shore mixed with the distant fishing boat engines, and even the pebbles at the bottom of the pool feel warm. 🍋 The host’s pet-friendly attitude is not just talk: a dog bed with a soft plush mat is prepared in advance, and when walking by the sea, they proactively provide poop bags. Early in the morning, taking the dog out, a three-minute walk leads to a fine sandy beach. Stepping on the waves watching the sunrise jump out from the sea horizon, the dog’s paws leave a string of little plum blossom prints on the sand, and even the sea breeze carries a sweet scent. 🍉 The homestay can help book the newly opened area of Laoshan Yangkou Scenic Area, so you don’t have to queue. After a tiring tour, returning to the homestay, the auntie’s Laoshan mushroom stewed chicken is steaming hot, paired with freshly steamed seafood potstickers. The fragrance of rice blends with the taste of mountain and sea. After the meal, take a walk along the most beautiful coastal road, with layered green mountains and fishing villages on one side, white walls and black tiles nestled among green trees; on the other side, the blue waves of the sea roll, occasionally a fishing boat passes by, like adding a stroke to a canvas.
