Qingdao 3 days walking itinerary

1.day: My accommodation was close to the Qingdao Olimpic Sailing and Marine Culture Tourist Area so my approach was simple: I went there and turned right, walked on the Qingdao Seaside Scenic area visiting everything nearby beaches, parks, sculpture gardens then I continued in Qingdao city center, Zhongshan road, Cathedral etc. finished with Signal Hill Park. It was 30 km walk. (I use step counter.) I took the metro at Xinhaoshan to go back to the hotel. 2. day: I went again to the seashore but now I turned left and walked on the Laoshan Scenic Area visiting again nearby beaches, parks everything what I could. It was 25 km walk. I took the metro at Laoshan Convention Center to come back. 3. day: I walked to the botanical garden and visited every parks nearby. (See my other post about them). It was 30 km walk. I took the metro back at Zhongshan Park. Accomodation: Whatever you prefer but it should be close to the beaches. Restaurant: There was a Yuexikelai supermarket near the cathedral where you can find a self service restaurant, there are prepared meals or the staff can prepare something for you from the available ingredients. It's not overpriced. Tips: Wear sunhat, long-sleeved T-shirt for protection against the UV radiation. bring water, some snacks. (You can find hot drinking water in Qingdao Seaside Scenic Area at toilets but you need scan QR code. You can find hot and cold drinking water in Laoshan Scenic Area at some toilets, one of them at Flora Sea Cafe). I saw only vending machines at the park entrances. #travel #beaches #park
