Hyatt Regency Qingdao: Full marks for the lounge and location💯 The hotel is located right next to Shilaoren Beach, which is a great location. I heard you can watch the sunrise from your bed (I woke up at 11 am, so I missed both the sunrise and breakfast). The lounge is amazing! The desserts are delicious, the cold dishes include smoked salmon, and the hot dishes are of high quality. The spicy hot pot is made with tripe, not just stir-fried vegetables. You can also order pan-fried dumplings. I drank two bottles of herbal water, which tasted good and was a bit addictive. The terrace outside the lounge offers a wide view of the sea. The room decor is actually quite nice. It's not the old-fashioned style, but rather a new Chinese style. Although the hotel has been open for a few years, there is no unpleasant smell in the room, and it is well-maintained. The only thing that confused me was that while I was sleeping with the "Do Not Disturb" sign on, a robot delivered a takeout order that I didn't order to my room. The phone rang loudly and woke me up. I took the order and went back to sleep. When I woke up, I informed the front desk about this, and they said they didn't know about it. They took the wrong order away, and that was the end of it.
