I showed up thinking I’d be that girl — you know, the effortlessly fit one, walking gracefully through nature, headphones in, looking like I belong in a fitness commercial. Reality hit me 7 minutes in. The hills? Disrespectful. The stairs? Personal attack. My legs? Filing for a restraining order. Every time I thought, “Okay, that must be the top,” the path kept going. I’m pretty sure I accidentally walked into another dimension. My watch said 2km, but my soul said I’d climbed Everest. Twice. Meanwhile, I passed unbothered uncles power-walking in jeans and aunties casually overtaking me while chatting and not even breaking a sweat.
