Batu Passa, Samosir Island

Batu Passa comes from the word Passa Passa in the Batak language which means a place for farmers in the middle of a rice field to repel birds that eat rice. It is located on the shores of Lake Toba, Sangkal Village, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency. There is an iconic tree that grows very near to the water surrounded by big rocks. The rocks in this place make it one of the exotic places in Samosir Regency. It's definitely an insta worthy place! This place is not crowded and completely free to visit.
