Wat Sri Mongkol, Nan

Wat Sri Mongkol (Kong) is located in Tambon Yom, Amphoe Tha Wang Pha, Nan Province. It is an ancient temple that received the royal charter of the boundary since 1852. The most famous monk of this temple is Luang Pu Kong. Behind the temple is a viewpoint with beautiful scenery. You can see the green rice fields and the mountains of Doi Phuka intricately. In the rice fields, there are accommodations and a coffee shop called Hug Nan. There is a bamboo bridge connecting to the temple where you can walk and take pictures. The temple has made several pavilions and viewpoints for taking pictures at the viewpoint, as well as a coffee shop with a Thai atmosphere for relaxing.
