But the minimum wage is 100 baht. It depends on the agreement. But we hired them because we couldn’t resist their persistence. The people here are very persistent... The next day, we tried again, leaving earlier than usual. We asked the driver to take us to the temple in the middle of the water, a temple where people bathe to purify their sins according to Hindu beliefs. It is believed that if you bathe there, it will be good and bring good luck. The water is clear, but we honestly didn’t dare to bathe because there were so many locals, not including tourists, that the pool would break. So many people that we thought, never mind. We were too lazy to go find a set. After a while, we continued on to a temple at the lakeside of Mount Bartru. The view is beautiful by car. The weather is probably cold all year round here.
