They offer double-boiled soups, various claypot steamed rice dishes, wontons, dumplings, and cart noodles, as well as homemade sweet soups and desserts. The cart noodles come with six soup base options: tomato soup, satay soup, spicy mala soup, bak kut teh, crab roe soup, or clear broth. Of course, you have to try the four-topping cart noodles, featuring tender marinated chicken mid-wings, half lean and half fatty beef, smoky five-spice beef tripe, and thoroughly cleaned pork large intestines with no off-flavors. We chose rice noodles to soak up the soup’s essence, which was spicy and flavorful, with a rich base. My friend went for the satay-flavored instant noodles, paired with flavorful fish balls, bouncy meatballs, and selected curry pork skin. The instant noodles were springy and didn’t get soggy despite being soaked, which was impressive. The restaurant offers a variety of dumplings that can be served in soup, pan-fried, or steamed 🥟, catering to all budgets. The chive and fresh pork dumplings 🥟 (pan-fried) come with fragrant garlic and scallions, plus a vinegar dip. Pan-fried dumplings can sometimes be greasy, but the vinegar perfectly cuts through the richness. The fresh chive filling bursts out, the pork is fresh and chewy, and the seasoning is just right, not too salty, with a crispy golden exterior and soft interior.
