Prague: A city that makes you feel lost in a fairy tale

Are you wondering where to go next? How about #Prague? ✈️ 👮 When traveling abroad, safety is a concern, right? Most European countries have good public safety to begin with (minor crimes like pickpocketing excluded), and I personally had no problems walking around at night! Of course, there are strange people everywhere (including Japan), so it's important to be aware that you're overseas and be mindful of your belongings and surroundings! 🗣️🔤 Next, there's the language aspect, which many people worry about: It's a non-English-speaking country. However! Since it's a tourist destination, English is generally understood. They're accustomed to tourists and foreigners, and because English isn't their first language, they're also more likely to speak slowly and in simple terms. Look at it positively! There are now a wide variety of translation apps, so just make sure your phone battery doesn't run out. lol Even if English is spoken, learning simple greetings and thank yous in the local language will increase the kindness of those around you by 50%! Don't be shy, let's give it a try! 🚃 It's also a good idea to research local transportation options in advance. I've picked out relatively compact areas where you can see everything in the city center on foot if you put in the effort. I actually did all of my sightseeing on foot! There are plenty of subway and tram options, so even those less confident in their stamina should be fine. ◎ Ticket gates in Europe operate differently than in Japan, so there have been cases where people unknowingly rode for free! Just be careful. If you research, you'll find plenty of articles. 💰Next, money: With the yen so weak, of course, anyone planning a trip to Europe will want to save as much as possible! #CzechRepublic is also relatively better. Since it's a tourist destination, if you're visiting during peak season, it might be cheaper to book a hotel as early as possible! Also, as long as you have a credit card, you won't need much cash anywhere! If you're planning on visiting markets, flea markets, or incredibly cheap hostels, be sure to bring cash. You may need coins for accommodation taxes, toiletries, coin lockers, and tips. It doesn't have to be a large amount, but having some coins on hand will keep you from panicking! 🌼 Wherever you walk, there's something so cute, but my favorite general store is Orel and Friends, which I keep stopping by!
