Morning - São Bento Station → Clérigos Tower → Lello Bookstore 📍 São Bento Station • It feels like a tile art museum, not a train station! • The blue azulejo tiles that fill the interior walls are a must-see • You can appreciate the stories of Portugal's history through tiles ✔️ TIP: If you visit early in the morning at 8-9 am, you can take pictures leisurely without the crowds. ⸻ 📍 Clérigos Tower (Torre dos Clérigos) • If you want to see the city view, this is the place! • If you climb over 200 stairs, you can see the view of downtown Porto and the Douro River at a glance • There are many emotional cafes and alley shops around, so stop by together ☕️ ⸻ 📍 Lello Bookstore (Livraria Lello) • Famous for being the most beautiful bookstore in the world! • Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is said to have been inspired by this place • The antique staircase + stained glass ceiling are the highlights ✔️ Tickets can be purchased on-site or online (tickets can be discounted when purchasing books) ⸻ 🐟 2. Lunch – Local food TripAdvisor restaurants or Ribeira area 📍 Ribeira Street • A representative photo zone in Porto with colorful buildings lined up right in front of the Douro River • Tile buildings + balconies with laundry hanging + stone paths = 100% life shots 🍽 Recommended lunch menu • Bacalhau: Portuguese cod dish • Francesinha: Porto specialty! A sandwich with layers of ham, sausage, meat, and cheese, topped with spicy sauce • A leisurely meal at a riverside open-air restaurant is recommended 🍽 ⸻ 🍷 3. Afternoon – Winery tour in the Gaia region across the Douro • Cross the **Ponte de Dom Luís I** to **Gaia (wine cellar area)** • Famous wineries: Sandeman, Taylor’s, Cálem, etc. • Tour + tasting included Approximately 10-15 euros / approximately 1 hour ✔️ TIP: The view of the river, bridge, and downtown Porto from the observation deck on the Gaia hill (Miradouro da Serra do Pilar) is spectacular. Be sure to visit at sunset! ⸻ 🌇 4.
