Magical Porto

I traveled to Porto expecting to drink lots of port wines, and although there is plenty of port (and cork souvenirs), I found much more, including the birthplace of Hogwarts! In Porto you can find the cafe and bookstore where JK Rowling began drafting the Harry Potter series (although there are such long lines and waitlists that I couldn’t get in), and you will find students wearing the black capes, which inspired the Hogwarts uniforms. Additionally, walking around Porto, you will find beautiful blue tile artwork and amazing food - don’t miss the famous Portuguese egg tarts! #portugal #porto #harrypotter #eggtarts
