Hobart and surrounding areas 5-day itinerary: a perfect combination of history, nature, and food

📅 Itinerary 第一天： As soon as we got off the plane, we rushed to Barilla Bay Oyster Farm for a fresh oyster, a 5-minute drive from the airport. Then go to Franklin Wharf in the city, recommend Mures seafood restaurant, fresh and sea view! 第2天： Chill around on the Hobert Sightseeing Tram to see the scenery, remember to visit the Salamanca market every Saturday, a lot of handicrafts and authentic food. Photo spots include the Cascath Brewery, historic buildings around Battery Point, and the Royal Botanic Gardens. 第三天： Port Arthur, visit the historical buildings, enjoy the lake and mountains, recommended must-take cruise, stunning sea view! If it’s winter, it’s recommended to visit Port Arthur Lavender next door (note it’s seasonal) to enjoy the romantic purple lavender fields and lavender flavored ice cream! Along the way to Port Arthur, you can also check out Tasmans Arch and Tessellated Pavement. For lunch, I personally highly recommend the Bangor Vineyard Shed passing along the way, sipping oysters, cheese, red wine, super high! 第三天： Go to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and say hi to Australian Wildlife ~ This is not a regular zoo, but a wildlife rescue and protection center, presenting the most natural side of animals, and Tasmania's unique Tasmanian Devil! Then go to the nearby Richmond ancient town for lunch, to the ancient bridge, ancient buildings to take a beautiful photo ~ Finally, walk to the top of Mt. Wellington, overlooking the city! 第四天： Chill live on Bruny Island, driving and taking the ferry is super convenient ~ See the beach, lighthouse, jungle, and a variety of authentic cuisine: honey, chocolate, oysters again! 第五天： Head to Wineglass Bay and Honeymoon Bay to take beautiful photos + sand, and go to Devil’s Corner Winery for a drink! If you have time you can continue to Sheffield or Launceston to see art, eat food, continue your trip ~ 🏨 Accommodation recommendations It is recommended to stay in a hotel near Franklin Wharf in the city center. Remember that some hotels do not have parking, parking requires a little thought ~ 🍴Food recommendations Tasmania's three delicacies: oysters, scallop pie, and seafood. There’s also authentic red wine, cheese, and honey for a delicious upgrade!
