The park’s highlight is its two saltwater lakes, with the larger lake (Veliko Jezero) home to a tiny island housing a beautiful 12th-century Benedictine monastery. We took a small boat across the crystal-clear water to explore the island, surrounded by silence and natural beauty. The greenery, still waters, and historic charm made it a magical experience.
