Continuing our journey eastward without a break: the livable city of Pitesti

Leaving the Bucharest city area, we head to the capital of Arges County, Pitesti, 108 kilometers away. Adorned with flowers, the new highway bridge 🛣 spans the Arges River, and we stayed at the Hotel Ramada Pitesti nearby. 🏞 Surrounded by mountains, Pitesti boasts beautiful natural scenery, with vineyards and plum orchards as its highlights. The ancient railway stretches along the Arges River, where the quietly flowing water reflects the scenery on both banks like a painting. The occasional water birds stir ripples in the water, creating a serene and pleasant atmosphere, making it an ideal place to live. 🌷 Every spring, Pitesti hosts a Tulip Festival, where tulips of various colors bloom in the streets and alleys, especially beautiful. We arrived towards the end of the festival, just in time to catch the last moments of the tulips 🏨 The Hotel Ramada Pitesti where we stayed has a strong sense of design, with nicely decorated lobby and bar, complete with a piano, and a winery to the left of the entrance. The gym and SPA are well-equipped. The hotel corridors are lined with entertaining large round mirrors, making for fun photo opportunities. 🛌 The rooms are spacious, with warm and bright colors, good lighting, and views. The double beds are wider than traditional European hotel beds, nearly 1.5 meters wide. The linens are also comfortable, with free WiFi and two bottles of water provided. 🚿 The bathroom is classy, especially the streamlined washbasin which is very stylish. Bathrobes are provided, but you need to bring your own slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste. 🍽 The restaurant at the Hotel Ramada Pitesti is very upscale, making one want to sit down for a drink 🍷, or at least a cup of coffee ☕. The complimentary buffet breakfast for guests is also served here, with a good variety and taste. Dinner is not recommended for Chinese guests here, as it is all Western cuisine. It is suggested to go to the large Mall VIVO! shopping center 900 meters away, on the 2nd floor, where there are many food options more suited to our tastes. The supermarket inside is also large, making shopping convenient. (Picture 6) ❤️ Warm tip: The indoor parking lot at Hotel Ramada Pitesti is chargeable, at 23 lei per day (overnight), which is about ¥36.
