World Wonder Building <Pisa>

#EuropeanTravel A European travel destination where you can see places you only saw in textbooks in real life! Pisa, which I visited for a day during my trip to Italy. It takes about an hour by train from Florence, so it is possible to visit it as a day trip. Pisa's representative landmark and world-famous building, the Leaning Tower of Pisa (Torre di Pisa)! The moment I saw the Leaning Tower in person, which I had only seen in pictures, I was so amazed. The Leaning Tower was smaller than I thought, but it was elegant, and the delicate white marble was so beautiful when it caught the light. The degree of leaning was even more dramatic when you saw it in person, so I wondered, "How has it not collapsed yet?" Right in front of the tower, tourists were taking "supporting poses" and it was a spectacular sight. There is not only the Leaning Tower, but also the Duomo, the Baptistery, and the Camposanto (cemetery) nearby. This entire area is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the ‘Piazza dei Miracoli’. If you have time, be sure to visit the inside of the cathedral and the baptistery. The ceiling and decorations of the Duomo are especially beautiful. 📍How to get there Depart from Florence SMN Station - Get off at Pisa Central and take the bus The bus takes about 10 minutes. It’s about a 20-minute walk from Pisa Central to the Leaning Tower ✔️Reservations are recommended for the Leaning Tower (it may be sold out during peak season) Opening hours: Usually 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (varies depending on the season) Large bags must be left at the storage upon entry.
