Patong beach, Phuket

Nice long stretch of the beach which was suitable for strolls and watching the sunset. There was a street of shops further inland that were good for hiding from the sun or taking breaks. Parasailing and jet ski was available from various local vendors as well. Patong is a beach resort town on the west coast of Phuket Island, facing the Andaman Sea in the southwest of Thailand. Its sandy, crescent beach is lined with cafes, restaurants and bars. The famously raucous nightlife scene features beer bars, go-go bars, nightclubs, massage parlors and cabarets that overflow into the street along neon-lit Bangla Road. One of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand! Food, and entertainment at your footsteps. At night it turns in to a roadside market.
