According to the evidence, this shrine is about 100 years old. The important deity of the shrine, which Phuket people call Chao Aam, is the god Guan Yu. Every year on the anniversary of the birth of the god Guan Yu (his birthday), he will pass through the medium to receive worship from the villagers. He will also listen to the stories of suffering, illness, and requests for help from the villagers. He has received great kindness. The god Guan Yu has provided assistance on every occasion.
