1 Michelin Key hotel with a view of Thailand's Santorini

#Phuket attractions The Nai Harn Hotel is a 5-star resort in a prime location on Nai Harn Beach, which was awarded 1 Michelin Key last year. It is similar to a Michelin star for restaurants, but it is an award given to hotels and tourism businesses. This hotel may not be a new hotel, but it is well-maintained. The atmosphere is comfortable and not very luxurious, but it looks charming. The appliances and facilities are of good quality and the service is very impressive. It is truly worthy of the award. ➡️ Room The room I chose was the Grand Ocean View Room, 81 square meters in size. The highlight is the wide balcony with both sun loungers and day beds, overlooking the sea view across Nai Harn Bay and all the way to Promthep Cape, which is beautiful beyond words. The bed is thick and soft, the pillows are filled with duck feathers, and the bathroom is large and divided into a bathtub, shower, and sink, which are beautifully proportioned. There are bathrobes provided. In the room, there is also tea and a coffee maker with Illy capsule coffee, as well as welcome fruits. It is very complete. ➡️ Swimming pool/beach The swimming pool here is quite small, but it looks private. As for the way down to the beach, there is a small road separating the lobby from the Rock Salt restaurant on the beach. Guests can come to the restaurant to request towels and beach chairs in front of the room. The staff will set up the beds and umbrellas for you on the beach. Very convenient. ➡️ Surrounding area The hotel emphasizes white tones, decorated in an open and airy style, showing off the sea view. The lobby is not very large, but decorated in a comfortable way. There is an elevator to the 6th floor. In front of the elevator is a popular photo spot, overlooking the white buildings lined up diagonally up the hill. It has a Santorini-like feel. Taking pictures in the morning light is beautiful. Taking pictures during sunset when the sky turns pink is another kind of beautiful. ➡️ Breakfast The food line is not very large compared to some 5-star hotels, but it has everything from Thai/Indian/Western food to cakes and pastries. It also emphasizes quality. I personally like the cold room area, which has Greek yogurt with homemade honey, fresh cheese made by the chef (this is the most delicious), as well as cold cuts and smoked fish, some of which are also homemade. Breakfast is served at the Cosmo restaurant, which has an open terrace with a view of the sea.
