Phuket Elephant Sanctuary

#songkran2024This was the best part of my holiday to Thailand. I loved every minute! I researched ethical elephant sanctuaries before I went and took advice from The Responsible Traveller website. This visit was well organised and professional from beginning to end. It was not cheap - approx £65- but was well worth the money. The price included return transfer from the office to the sanctuary, free snacks and drinks on arrival, lockers for big bags, a small group guide around the sanctuary where we could get close to the elephants and a free meal at the end which was a great surprise and absolutely delicious. The highlight for me was being able to feed an elephant - which was also well organised and responsible. The facilities were impeccable and super clean. Well done to all the staff at the sanctuary.
